BG East 11-12-year-olds win District Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Its little league postseason here in Bowling Green, and tonight the 11-12-year-olds district championship took place over at Basil Griffin Park.

The defending district champions and 2024 Kentucky state champions BG East met Owensboro Southern on the diamond with the 2025 title on the line.

Southern would hold a 3-2 lead through two innings, but at the bottom of the third, Grady Ross hit a three-run homer to put his team ahead and East would never look back from there.

BG plated three more in the 4th and the 5th inning, and to close out this game, it was none other than Ross again with the final strikeout, and BG East is state tournament bound after the 12-3 victory over Owensboro Southern.
