Louisville Orchestra to return to Glasgow on July 8

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Louisville Orchestra is bringing its “In Harmony” tour to Glasgow on July 8.

According to by the Louisville Orchestra, the orchestra and music director Teddy Abrams will bring free music to four stops in Kentucky next month.

These include the following stops:

  • Glasgow on July 8
  • Elizabethtown on July 9
  • Muhlenberg on July 10
  • Bardstown on July 13.

The July programming includes an Americana-themed lineup, featuring the father-daughter duo and Muhlenberg native Joe Hudson and Shelby Hudson Bryant in three of its performances.

“In Harmony – The Commonwealth Tour of the Louisville Orchestra” initially kicked off in 2022 when the organization was awarded $4.3 million by the Kentucky Legislature to build community and promote more equitable cultural health and well-being throughout the Commonwealth.

Since then, it has stopped in 43 counties, earning the orchestra renewed funding from the Kentucky Legislature for continued touring through 2026.
