CASA hires new advocate coordinator
Glasgow native Billy Buford has joined the staff of Court Appointed Special Advocates of South Central Kentucky as the organization’s new advocate coordinator.
CASA is an organization that advocates for abused and neglected children in the court system in this region.
Buford is joining CASA’s staff of four other employees. In Buford’s new job he will supervise and support CASA volunteers who serve children Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Metcalfe and Warren counties.
His experience includes 10 years of working with the Memphis (Tenn.) Athletic Ministries. He has also previously worked in the Warren County Drug Court system.
