BCHS senior Grant Harper named 2025 Coca-Cola Scholar

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A senior at Barren County High School in Glasgow is being recognized as one of the country’s outstanding high school leaders by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
BCHS senior Grant Harper has been awarded a $20,000 college scholarship as a 2025 Coca-Cola Scholar, according to Barren County Schools.
The district says the 150 students that were selected from an initial pool of 105,000 applications across the nation exemplify “superior leadership, service and academics” and serve as “change agents, positively affecting others in their communities.”
Grant attended the Coca-Cola Scholars Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia, April 3-6, where he participated in the Coca-Cola Scholars Leadership Development Institute facilitated by program alumni. Collectively, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will award $3.1 million in college scholarships to these outstanding young leaders.
A joint effort of Coca-Cola bottlers across the country and The Coca-Cola Company, the Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States.
Congratulations to Harper on all of his accomplishments!
