WKU High School Personal Finance Summer Camp taking place this June

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This summer, local high school students can prepare for the real world with the WKU High School Personal Finance Summer Camp.

The camp is set to take place from June 15 through June 19, with an all-inclusive cost of $299 and limited need-based scholarships available.

Organizers say the cost covers housing during the event, meals, materials, swag and a camp T-shirt, made possible through support from Abound Credit Union.

Participants will:

  • Learn essential money-management skills for lifelong financial success.
  • Experience campus life, sessions led by WKU Finance Faculty and top current students.
  • Visit a top local financial planning firm.
  • Interact personally with the CEO, CFO, and other top executives from Abound Credit Union.
  • Enjoy fun events like a campus-wide scavenger hunt and game nights.
