Bus driver, children sustain injuries in Todd County crash
TODD COUNTY – A Tuesday morning crash involving a school bus injured six.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a crash at U.S. 68 at East Jefferson Davis Highway, near Williams Hill Road, according to a report by WNKY News 40 partner WEKT Radio.
Deputies say a school bus was traveling on Williams Hill Road and turned onto U.S. 68 when it collided with a westbound truck pulling a trailer.
Todd County EMS says four children, a bus driver, and an occupant of the truck sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to a local hospital. The injuries are non-life-threatening.
WEKT says Todd County Schools Superintendent Mark Thomas confirmed the injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
