Fountain Row Fridays set to return with new fall concert series
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Fountain Row Fridays are almost upon us once again, with the addition of a brand new music series.
It kicks off Friday at Fountain Square Park from 4:30 to 7, with the return of the spring concerts.
There are also plans to introduce a new fall series from late August through October, which means there will be 20 weeks of live music on Fountain Square throughout the year.
The Entertainment District is celebrating three years in 2025 this July, and it was originally only on weekends. However, positive feedback helped it grow even more… and that popularity has helped kickstart a revitalization of the downtown area.
“I think that overall it shows the momentum the downtown community has because downtown is a whole neighborhood right… and it’s just a whole ecosystem of diverse opportunities and it’s a great way to bring all of the different community members together in the neighborhood and enjoy what it means to be a local in downtown Bowling Green,” downtown development coordinator Telia Butler says.
She also adds there are a few surprises in store for this year’s concert series, so stay tuned to Downtown BGKY on socials for more information.
