Guthrie congratulates Butler Co. native on appointment to military academies

MORGANTOWN, Ky. – Congratulations are in order for a Butler County native for her appointment to two military academies.

On April 16, Butler County native Harmony Taylor, a high school senior, received a visit from Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) to recognize her accomplishments.

According to Guthrie’s office, Taylor has been appointed to both the United States Military Academy at West Point and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
