Glasgow resident Erica Hildreth wins international beauty ambassador title

BELLVUE, Wa. – Glasgow native Erica Hildreth has been crowned the Global Beauty Awards Ambassador.
According to a release by The Global Beauty Awards, Hildreth, who is a mother of five, reigning United States of America’s Mrs. Kentucky and military spouse, has earned the title as the new face of Dall Italia.
The release says the competition took place from April 12 through April 13 in Washington with more than 30 participants from around the world.
Organizers say the contestants were evaluated based on video submission, personality and confidence.
Along with the new title, Hildreth takes home over $30,000 in cash, scholarships and prizes, including talent representation, a smile makeover, billboard placement and more.
In addition to her Ambassador title, Hildreth was also honored with the Best Brand Ambassador Award, voted on by Global Beauty Awards VIP members. This award further recognizes “her authenticity, passion and influence within the pageant and wider community,” organizers say.
“I am so honored and I am so humbled and I am beyond grateful…” said Hildreth. “I’ve never heard my name called. I have been at large contestant and I represented America as a first runner-up and yesterday was the first time I heard my name called. And, I am so grateful. Thank you.”
Hildreth is also a top producing real estate agent and founder of The Resilience Ruck, a nationally recognized event raising awareness for the mental health needs of veterans first responders.
Organizers say she has mentored women in pageantry, volunteered in her community and been on a mission to uplift others.
