Gorin Park playground reopens following flooding

GLASGOW, Ky. – More details are now available on the status of Glasgow parks following severe flooding last week.

The Glasgow Parks and Recreation Department says these parks were closed temporarily due to safety.

Officials say crews have been working hard to ensure that they can reopen the parks, and they’re happy to announce that the playground at Gorin Park is back open.

Officials say they appreciate the community’s patience and will continue to provide updates on the progress at Beaver Creek Park.
