Fire destroys Franklin home
FRANKLIN, Ky. – On Monday, a fire destroyed a Franklin home.
Franklin Simpson Fire Rescue responded to a fire at the 3100 block of Sportsman Lake Road and located a heavy fire at a single-story home. FSFR requested assistance from the Plano Fire Department and Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department at approximately 10 am.
The fire caused a partial collapse of the C side of the home.
The departments were able to extinguish the blaze and control potential hot spots.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
No injuries were reported.
