City of Bowling Green public works director rescues dog from flood

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A City of Bowling Green director rescued a dog from flood waters Saturday morning.
According to a social media post, Bowling Green Public Works crews were navigating floodwaters on Cave Mill Road when a dog named Bucko escaped from its home’s yard and was discovered caught in the flood.
Public Works Director Andy Souza rescued Bucko from the floodwaters.
The city says Bucko was safely returned to the family.
“Bucko is now safely back with his relieved family, reminding us all that even in difficult times, hope and humanity shine through,” says the City of Bowling Green.
