Storm shelters at Basil Griffin Park closed due to flooding

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Due to flooding Saturday, emergency officials say storm shelters located at Basil Griffin Park are closed.
However, the following shelter locations in Warren County will be open, according to to Warren County Emergency Management:
- Ephram White Park at 885 Mt. Olivet Road in Bowling Green, KY 42101, 1 shelter on the right side near the baseball complex and 1 shelter on the left rear near the maintenance building.
- Ed Spear Park at 226 Sunset Ave. in Smiths Grove, KY 42171
- Phil Moore Park at 7101 Scottsville Road in Bowling Green, KY 42122
- Michael Buchanon Park at 9222 Nashville Road in Bowling Green, KY 42101. 1 shelter on the right inside the ball complex and 1 shelter in the rear near the picnic shelter.
- Plano Fire Station #1 at 3210 Plano Road in Bowling Green, KY 42104 across from the Plano store
- Alvaton Fire Station #1 at 6403 Old Scottsville Road in Alvaton, KY 42122 located across from the Alvaton community center
- Alvaton Fire Station #3 at 122 JFS Circle in Bowling Green, KY 42104 across Scottsville Road from the U.S. Post office
