Christian Family Radio nominated as finalist for Small Market Station of the Year
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Christian Family Radio has announced it has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious “Small Market Station of the Year” award by Christian Music Broadcasters.
The CMB award celebrates excellence in Christian radio, according to CFR.
The station says being named a finalist in the small market category “underscores the dedication of the entire team at Christian Family Radio to provide exception content to its audience.”
“We are honored to be nominated for such a significant award,” said Bridget Kehrt-Groce, executive director. “I often say that I love what we get to do every day–be life changing media. We know that media can make a community stronger and better connected because the Lord is present in our daily broadcast. Plus, we truly have the best listeners on the planet!”
The CMB Awards recognize the achievements and contributions by “radio stations, personalities and organizations within the Christian music broadcast industry,” CFR says.
The winner will be announced during CMB’s annual gathering of radio professionals in Orlando, Florida on May 30.
In 2024, Christian Family Radio’s Derek Gregory won Best Radio Personality in 2024, while CFR has earned the Kentucky Broadcast Association’s Station of the Year in 2021 and Bowling Green Daily News Best Local Radio Station in 2023 and 2024.

But this year, as I read through our entry and put together the audio portion, it hit me—we’re living out things I once only dreamed about!
