WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A Warren County Sheriff’s Office employee carried out a cat rescue with some help from the local community.

Last week, the sheriff’s office shared that a black cat named Salem found himself stuck 45 feet up on a silo.

The WCSO says animal control officer Lisa Henderson stepped in to help with some assistance with a lift by Green River Rentals and the Firemen Moving Company, who delivered the equipment. After 36 hours, the cat was back down to safety.

Officials say Salem was checked out by officials before going home, where he will be “grounded for life.”
