Firefighters respond for fire at Bowling Green Metalforming

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department responded for a reported fire at Bowling Green Metalforming.

On Thursday, BGFD public information officer Katie McKee says units responded just before 1:30 p.m. for a piece of machinery that had caught on fire.

McKee says firefighters brought the fire under control within 15 minutes, and minor damage resulted from the fire.

No injuries were reported.

Fire officials noted the importance of having strategically placed stations throughout the area as the city grows, with BGFD’s latest station opening in April 2024 on Glasgow Road.

Units were released following the incident.
