National Weather Service Louisville confirms EF-1 tornado damage in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The National Weather Service Louisville has confirmed EF-1 damage surveyed in Franklin.

According to NWS Louisville, the damage has been located on Neosheo Prices Mill Road during a preliminary investigation.

Preliminary findings found at least EF-1 damage and peak winds at 90 miles per hour approximately 5.5 miles southwest of Franklin, NWS officials say.

Surveyors are still on site.

NWS Louisville says the damage occurred Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m.
