Units respond to house fire in Munfordville

MUNFRDVILLE, Ky. – Units responded to a structure fire on Monday in Hart County.

According to Munfordville Fire and Rescue, units responded at around 1 a.m. to a report of a structure fire on Buell Avenue.

Fire officials say law enforcement reports prior to their arrival state a manufactured home showed visible smoke and flames.

Upon arrival, units achieved a quick knockdown. Firefighters worked to eliminate hot spots on scene.

Munfordville Fire and Rescue was assisted by the Bonnieville Fire Department, Hart County EMS, Horse Cave Police Department and Hart County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews were on scene for approximately three hours.
