Cherry Hall classes impacted after leak from heavy rainfall
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Some Western Kentucky University classes have seen an impact from recent weather.
According to Jace Lux, director of Media Relations/WKU spokesperson, a drainage system around the cupola of Cherry Hall was overwhelmed from heavy rainfall, leading to a leak.
Lux shared the following information from Terrance Brown, dean of Potter College regarding the Cherry Hall schedule:
“A shift to remote modality and room rescheduling has been implemented for most classes on the third floor of Cherry Hall.”
He says Brown stated unit heads started the process Sunday night with a goal of resuming classes in regularly assigned spaces by Tuesday, Feb. 18.
