Analysis looks at importance of funding for Kentucky schools

A new analysis from the Kentucky Center for Economic Policy demonstrates the critical role federal funding plays in Kentucky Schools.

Lately, funding cuts to the Department of Education and Congress are in conversation.

In total, federal grants supply more than $1 billion to Kentucky each year, and Department of Education funding supports the employment of approximately 4,546 teachers, counselors and other school employees across the Commonwealth.
