(CNN) – Coffee lovers heading to Starbucks can expect to see a scaled-down menu.

The coffee giant is cutting about 30% of its drink and food items.

CEO Brian Niccol made the announcement in an earnings call Tuesday.

The new streamlined menu is expected to simplify ordering and speed up service.

It’s unclear what specific items are going away, but the company has already gotten rid of its lineup of olive oil drinks and iced energy drinks.

The changes are part of Niccol’s plans to make Starbucks more profitable.

That’s after the company saw its fourth consecutive quarter of declines at the end of the last year.

Starbucks’ new menu is expected to be rolled out in the coming months.
