Special guest announced for annual Romance at the Railpark

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Historic Railpark and Train Museum has announced an addition to this year’s Romance at the Railpark event.

According to the railpark, the annual celebration will be joined by Letetia Henley Kirk, the private nurse to Elvis Presley, bringing her stories and insights into her time with the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Park officials say Letitia will be the featured speaker at a special luncheon on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Guests attending the luncheon will have the rare opportunity to hear firsthand accounts of her experiences caring for Elvis Presley. In addition to the luncheon, Kirk will engage with attendees during the elegant evening dining events on both Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15.

Adding to the excitement, Elvis impersonator Brian Lee Howell, a professional performer from Memphis, Tennessee, will provide live entertainment during the evening events. Brian’s tribute performances are sure to delight Elvis fans and make the evenings truly memorable.

To make this a full-on Elvis celebration, the RailPark is offering a private showing of the classic film Blue Hawaii. Guests are encouraged to embrace the Hawaiian flair in their attire, adding a fun and festive element to the event. The menu will also feature a delicious Polynesian theme, perfectly complementing the evening’s ambiance.

Additionally, Ried’s Livery Winery will be set up during the event, offering wine for purchase, adding another layer of enjoyment for attendees.

Henley, who has authored two compelling books detailing her time with Elvis, will have her works available for purchase during all events, providing fans and attendees with a chance to take home a piece of music history.
