Man injured while working to clear roads in Simpson Co.

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Authorities say one man was injured over the weekend while clearing roads in Simpson County.

The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office says it is sending out prayers for Tommy Link, who was working on county roads when deputies say an accident occurred.

Further details surrounding the accident have not been released.

However, the sheriff’s office says Link is scheduled for surgery this morning. The agency says Link’s “dedication to our community is truly admirable.”
