Mammoth Cave National Park to delay opening due to winter forecast

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park is delaying opening hours for its visitor center and cave tours until 10:15 a.m. this Sunday due to expected winter conditions.

Park officials say the weather could impact park roadways.

The Green River Ferry will also delay opening until 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 5.

Flint Ridge Road is currently closed to all traffic. Park road crews will reassess weather conditions in the morning and will provide updated opening times if needed.
