Free January movies to be hosted at the Capitol

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This month, you can head out of the cold and into the Capitol Theatre for some free movies.

According to the Warren County Public Library, the following films will be showing for free during the month of January:

  • Saturday, Jan. 4: “Gleaming the Cube” at 2 p.m. (rated PG-13), “Pump Up the Volume” at 4 p.m. (rated R), “True Romance” at 6 p.m. (rated R).
  • Monday, Jan. 6: “Best in Show (Subtitled)” at 2 and 6:30 p.m. (rated PG-13).
  • Friday, Jan. 17: “In the Mouth of Madness” at 4p.m. (rated R) and “Prince of Darkness” at 6 p.m. (rated R) and “The Thing” at 8 p.m. (rated R).
  • Wednesday, Jan. 22: “Phantom of the Paradise” at 6:30 p.m. (rated PG).
  • Friday, Jan. 24: “The Truman Show” (rated PG) at 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Jan. 29: “Chungking Express” at 5 p.m. (not rated), “In the Mood for Love” at 7 p.m. (not rated).
  • Friday, Jan. 31: “The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe” at 7:30 p.m. (rated PG).

All of the movies are free and open to the public, with no ticket required.
