UPDATE: WRECC crews work to restore power for 5,000 members

BOWLING, Ky. – Thousands have power back on in Warren County following an outage Wednesday morning.

Warren Rural Electrical Cooperative Corporation says approximately 5,000 members did not have power throughout the county starting around 6 a.m.

Crews are currently in the field working to restore service and have found the cause to be a fallen tree.

WRECC says almost everyone has been restored at this time.
