Warren County Public Library to host New York Times bestselling author Jamie Ford

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – New York Times bestselling author Jamie Ford is set to visit Bowling Green.
The Warren County Public Library has announced it will present an evening with Ford as a rescheduled appearance after he was planned to headline their Back to Back Books Festival in September.
The library says Ford had to cancel at the time due to unforeseen circumstances.
Ford is the author of “Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet,” a multi-award-winning novel, the library says, that spent more than two years on the New York Times bestseller list and has been translated into 35 languages.
The library says Ford is noted for blending history with “heartfelt narratives that explore themes of love, identity and cultural heritage.”
Ford’s latest novel, “The Many Daughters of Afong Moy,” has received praise for its “imaginative storytelling and exploration of generational trauma, resilience and love,” according to organizers.
The library says it even gave free copies of this book out during its Back to Books Festival. Now, those who received a copy have the opportunity to get them signed by Ford himself.
Ford will meet attendees and sign books following his presentation.
The event is set for Monday, Jan. 27 at 6 p.m. at the Capitol downtown Bowling Green.
