Milam named Kentucky Broadcasters Association 2025 board chair
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A familiar face will lead broadcasters from across the state in 2025.
The Kentucky Broadcasters Association (KBA) announced WNKY News 40 General Manager/General Sales Manager as the Kentucky Broadcasters Association Board Chair on Thursday.
The KBA unites public and commercial radio and television stations across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Milam has been a member of the WNKY News 40 team for almost 17 years, serving in the General Manager role since 2017.
“I’m excited to serve as your new Board Chairman of the Kentucky Broadcasters Association. It is truly an honor to lead such a dynamic group of professionals who play a vital role in shaping the media landscape of our state. As we continue to navigate an ever-evolving industry, I look forward to working closely with all of you to promote the interests of our members, enhance our industry’s impact, and ensure that the KBA remains a strong and influential voice. Milam assumes the gavel from the 2024 Chair, Jeff Anderson.
The purpose of the Kentucky Broadcasters Association is to represent and further the interest of broadcasters, communicate relevant information to broadcasters through meetings and publications, and provide educational services through conventions, workshops, or other appropriate means in order to better serve the public.
