Glasgow structure fire results in total loss

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Monday evening.

Fire Chief Lucas Tinsley says units located smoke and flames coming through the roof of a residence located at 515 West Front Street. Firefighters extinguished the fire over two hours.

Tinsley says the residence is a total loss.

The residence was not occupied and no injuries have been reported.

The department was assisted by the Barren Metcalfe Ambulance Service, Glasgow EPB, and Glasgow Police Department.
