Bowling Green Fire Department battles Thanksgiving Day blaze

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Fire Department battled a house fire on Thanksgiving Day.

BGFD Public Information Officer Katie McKee says 8 units responded to a structure fire on Normalview Drive at approximately 9:39 am on Thursday.

Crews say flames and heavy smoke were present on the side of the residence.

McKee says no injuries are reported at this time.

The investigation of the fire is ongoing.
