Glasgow Fire battles house blaze, one resident suffers minor injuries
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Tuesday.
Fire chief Lucas Tinsley says the department responded to a fire at 515 West Cherry St., where units located smoke and flames coming from the residence.
The structure was not occupied during the time of the fire.
A resident received minor burns and smoke inhalation after rescuing some of the pets from the residence.
The resident was treated and released by Barren/Metcalfe EMS.
The fire was put out by the Glasgow Fire Department.
No other injuries were reported.
