Glasgow man arrested after allegedly entering property without permission, hunting

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. – A Glasgow man is facing charges related to entering a property in Grayson County without consent and illegal hunting activity.

Allan Sauer, 21, of Glasgow is charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others, third-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, second-degree cruelty to animals, discharge of a firearm/other device across public, criminal littering and two counts entry on land to shoot/hung/fish/trap without consent, first offense.

According to a uniform citation, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office executed a complaint warrant on Oct. 23, arresting Sauer.

The complaint warrant states that in March, Sauer “took a doe with long gun out of season, without a hunting license” and without a deer permit or completed harvest log.

In addition, the complaint warrant states Sauer possessed 14 “dead heads with antlers on skull cap.”

A complaint warrant also states Sauer “entered the property of a landowner without permission and shot” two deer in June.

In July, a criminal complaint states Sauer “shot at three deer from his vehicle.”

Sauer was booked in the Barren County Detention Center on Oct. 30. He has since been released.
