Glasgow police to host drug take back day

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department is hosting a National DEA Drug Take Back Program Day on Saturday, October 26.

Public Information Officer Major Terry Flatt says the event will be at the Walmart Supercenter in Glasgow from 9 am until Noon. The department will be set up at the main entrance.

Major Flatt says all forms of unused or expired medication will be accepted for donation. Flatt says no further information will need to be provided to officers. The medication and container will be destroyed and usable.

The department will not be accepting liquid medications and syringes.
