Over the Edge canceled due to weather

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Over the Edge, an annual event benefitting the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center, has been canceled both Friday and Saturday.

Each year, participants rappel down a building after raising money for BRACAC. Hundreds of children were served in the Barren River Area last year, organizers say. The center offers a child-friendly location where teams of professionals work together to pursue justice for child victims of sexual abuse.

In a social media post, BRACAC said events both Friday, Sept. 27 and Saturday, Sept. 28 have been canceled due to weather.

With this year’s support, BRACAC says fundraising reached $117,000, which will directly help the mission of the center.
