State police seeking food donations

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police Post 3 is kicking off the Cram The Cruiser food drive event.

KSP will be accepting non-perishable food items at their post at 3119 Nashville Road until Dec. 9.

Since 2010 the agency has contributed over two-million pounds of food to shelters, food banks and churches throughout the Commonwealth.

Officials say the food collected stays in the area in which it was donated.

All items will be distributed to families in need.
