Annual Pup-kin 5K Run/Walk to return on Oct. 26

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Get your best Halloween costume ready for the return of the annual Pup-kin Run/Walk on Oct. 26.
The event is back to offer a blend of holiday spirit and fitness, where participants can run in their favorite Halloween attire. Leashed dogs are also welcome to walk or run with their owners, provided they are well-behaved and owners clean up after them.
The event is organized by the Warren County Public Library and Warren County Parks and Recreation.
This year’s races include:
- 5K run at 8 a.m.
- Monster Mosey at 8:15 a.m.
- Kid’s Fun Run at 9 a.m.
The event also features bouncy houses, pumpkin-flavored treats and other activities for all ages.
While there, you can also help out the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society with an optional donation.
Registration for the 5K is $35 and includes a T-shirt and pumpkin at the finish line. Registration for the Kid’s Fun Run is free.
Early packet pick-up will be available inside the Buchanon Branch Library at 9222 Nashville Road inside the Tennis Facility on Oct. 25 from 4 to 6 p.m. All registrants are asked to check in and pick-up their bib and T-shirt at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 26.
