Mass casualty drill to be held at T.J. Samson Community Hospital

GLASGOW, Ky. – A community mass casualty drill is scheduled on Wednesday, Sept. 18 in Glasgow.
According to T.J. Regional Health, the exercise has been planned for months and will test readiness for large-scale emergencies. This is a joint effort between T.J. Regional health, local first responders and emergency services.
The drill will take place at T.J. Samson Community Hospital from approximately 9 a.m. to noon.
The community should be prepared for a simulated emergency situation, coordination between agencies and volunteers participating to support realism and preparedness, T.J. Regional Health says.
This is reminder to the public that this will just be a drill, and there will be no real danger.
T.J. Regional Health says the public’s “awareness and understanding are crucial for effective community safety.”
