Portion of Center Street to be closed starting Monday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Drivers traveling through downtown Bowling Green should be aware of a road closure.

According to Bowling Green Municipal Utilities, Center Street will be closed from East Eighth Avenue to East Main Avenue intermittently between Monday, Sept. 9 and Wednesday, Sept. 11.

BGMU says crews will be repairing and replacing poles.

The release states the lane closest to the Lunch Box Café will be closed during this time.

However, BGMU says the public will still be able to access its main office and all businesses in the 800 block.
