Morgantown’s West Ohio Street Chalk Art Festival set for this weekend
MORGANTOWN, Ky. – This weekend, you can join the community of Morgantown for its eighth annual West Ohio Street Chalk Art Festival.
The Butler County Arts Guild invites the public to show up Saturday and decorate the street with creative chalk drawings.
The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Visitors can also enjoy treats, a balloon artist, shadow tracing, old fashioned games, face painting and a special music guest.
Children can enter school-aged contests, with three divisions: Kindergarten through fifth grade, sixth grade through eighth grade and ninth grade through 12th grade.
The festival will be located at 115 W. Ohio St. in Morgantown. Drivers should be aware the 100 block of West Ohio Street will be closed Saturday beginning at 7 a.m. to about 3 p.m. for the festival.
