2024 Glasgow Christmas Parade theme announced

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Christmas Parade officially has a confirmed theme, grand marshals and more.

On Thursday, a special announcement revealed this year’s theme will be Rock n’ Roll Christmas, and the grand marshals will be The Glasgow Garden Club, along with Phillips Family Grocery & Butcher Shop.

The parade is set for Dec. 7.

According to Barren Inc., The Barren County Chamber of Commerce, the event is the largest nighttime parade in Kentucky with more than 150 floats from businesses, organizations and families from Barren County.

The parade will begin at Glasgow High School and end at Glasgow Baptist Church on South Green Street.

The event is organized by Barren Inc., as well as a group of chamber members and community officials.

Applications for the parade will be released Oct. 1 and will be available until Nov. 22. If you register before Oct. 31, you can get an early entry fee of $25.
