Free rabies vaccination and microchip clinic set for Aug. 17

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Pet owners who live in the city limits of Bowling Green can benefit from a free rabies vaccination and microchip clinic this weekend.
The City of Bowling Green says these services on Saturday are free for city residents.
The event will last from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Parker-Bennett-Curry Elementary School at 165 Webb Drive.
Pets must be at least four months old, the city says.
City officials say cats must be in a carrier, and dogs must be on a leash for this event.
Services are free courtesy of Three Springs Animal Hospital and the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society.
