Glasgow police respond for injury collision on Friday

GLASGOW, Ky. – Officers were at the scene of an injury collision Friday in Glasgow.

According to The Glasgow Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of N L Roger Wells Boulevard and Smith Road in a reference to an injury collision.

Police say they determined a 2007 GMC Envoy operated by Jo Caffee was traveling southbound on N L Roger Wells Boulevard when the vehicle disregarded a traffic control device.

According to police, Caffee’s vehicle struck a 2013 Ford Edge operated by Mary Birge, who was traveling northbound on N L Roger Wells Boulevard and was attempting to make a left turn onto Smith Road.

Caffee, Barbara Thompson and Birge were transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for their injuries.

The Glasgow Fire Department assisted at the scene.
