Shmuppy Puppy’s opens Uno’s Lunch Box to help pet owners with food and more

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A pet grooming business in Scottsville is giving back to the community in a unique way.

At Shmuppy Puppy’s, you’ll find Uno’s Lunch Box, a one stop shop for pet food, flea and tick medicine and much more.

The box is named after owner Laska Webber’s dog Uno. She wanted to give an opportunity for those in the community to get what they need for their furry friends.

In just the first week alone, they gave out nearly 150 pounds of pet food, and Webber was surprised to see that much considering she wasn’t even sure if Uno’s Lunch Box would be a success.

“When I see people coming in, it seems to be different people, not the same person over and over. So it just kind of really opened my eyes to the need that we had, that I was never really aware of before… and now that I know how much people need this, I’m going to try and keep more items on hand,” she says.

Uno’s Lunch Box takes donations of anything from pet food & medicine to collars, toys & treats. You can stop by Shmuppy Puppy’s next to Pizza Hut in Scottsville to either pick up what you need or drop off donations.
