FEMA opens disaster recovery center in Warren County to help those affected by May 2024 storms
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After the devastating storms we saw just a few months ago, FEMA and the Small Business Administration have set up a recovery center in Warren County to help rebuild the community.
They are able to help replace electronics or any items that may have been lost due to flooding… As well as provide funding to those that may need it.
The Small Business Administration helps people take out loans that may need them to help build their companies back up… and staff say it’s important to take advantage of these resources while they’re here…
“First thing I tell people… be proactive. Come to the center, fill out the application. It’s obligated. But once we’re gone… and if you if you’re in the system, we can still be able to assess you,” Angel Class with the Small Business Administration’s Office of Recovery & Resilience says.
To access help, you can make your way to Sugar Maple Square Monday through Saturday from 10AM to 7PM… go to FEMA.gov or download their app to get access to these resources.
