BGPD hosting softball game fundraiser for Simpson Co. teen

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A softball game this fall will help show support for a local teen.

The Bowling Green Police Department announced Friday that “The Fight for 9” will be hosted on Sept. 14 to benefit Mason Davis.

Davis was injured during a car crash in Simpson County in early April.

The co-ed tournament starts at 8 a.m. The event will also host a silent auction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All events will take place at the Lampkin Softball Fields off of Morgantown Road in Bowling Green.

Costs are $175 per team and $25 extra for a home run bracelet.
