Road project ongoing near Allen County Intermediate Center

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A road project remains ongoing on the Allen County Intermediate Center Oliver Street entrance.

Crews are trying to widen the entrance from two to three lanes, according to Allen County Schools Sports.

Officials say the project will ease traffic congestion during morning drop offs and later afternoon pick ups.

There will also be a brand new soccer field parking lot being added. Construction is expected to be complete around the first of August, just in time for a the school year.
