Portion of Fairview Avenue to be closed

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Motorists traveling through Bowling Green should be aware of an upcoming road closure.

A portion of Fairview Avenue will be closed between U.S. 31-W and Lehman Avenue, according to Bowling Green Municipal Utilities.

BGMU says this will affect the far right lane heading toward downtown from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 18 through the day on Friday, July 19.

Two manholes will be replaced during this time.

The inbound right lane will remain open.

The closed portion will reopen once concrete is cured.
