Belmark Inc. breaks ground in Allen County, 159 jobs incoming to local area

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear gathered with local officials to break ground on Belmark Inc. Wednesday, a $99 million manufacturing facility that will be located in Allen County.
According to a release by the governor’s office, the facility is expected to bring 159 jobs to the area.
Belmark Inc. is a manufacturer of printed labels, packaging and folding cartons, the release states. The governor’s office states the groundbreaking kicked off the company’s investment to place a new 156,000-square-foot operation on 25 acres in Allen County.
“With every groundbreaking event, we celebrate another quality investment that will bring job opportunities and economic growth to the commonwealth,” Beshear said. “This is an exciting next step for Belmark and the Allen County community. I want to thank the company’s leadership for their belief in what this great state has to offer and look forward to Belmark’s success here in Kentucky.
The release states the full-time jobs created will pay an average wage of $37 per hour.
