UPDATE: Missing Tennessee child located dead in lake

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. – A 7-year-old child has been found dead in Dandridge, Tennessee after an Amber Alert was issued Thursday morning.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 7-year-old Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey was last seen around 1 a.m. Thursday along Indian Creek Road in Dandridge.

An Amber Alert was issued Thursday morning shortly before 10 a.m.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation stated in an online update that a dive team located Kinsey’s body in a lake near her home.
