Road project begins in Logan County

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – A road project in Logan County is expected to impact traffic starting this week.

A preventative maintenance project on U.S. 68 between U.S. 68X at mile point 8.8 and KY 3519 Main Street at mile point 10.2 in Logan County has started, according to transportation officials.

Motorists should prepare for lane closures and delays while passing through the area.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 says the project will include an ultra-thin blacktop overlay to help preserve pavement.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of September.
